I was lucky enough to see Paloma Faith peform live at Portsmouth Guildhall last night, courtesy of my lovely friend Laura James. After a long day at work and ferrying children about, I had a mad dash from my house to Portsmouth – leaving at 6.50pm, I managed to plant myself in my seat at 7.30pm. Laura who had driven up from Weymouth with her two friends, Sue and Hayley, was already there.
I just wanted to share a few snaps, apologies for the lack of quality but they were taken on my phone …
It was a fantastic evening, the support act ‘Josephine’ was very good and reminded us of Tracy Chapman/Amy McDonald.
I enjoyed every minute of it. The Guildhall is quite a small venue but it worked well and gave a really intimate feeling. Paloma herself was fantastic and I was delighted when she performed ‘Thirty Minute Love Affair’ which is one of my favourites.
Looks like you have a great night. Super photos too!
Thanks Janice, I really must take my camera with me in future to get better photos. x
Great stuff! Sounds like you had a fab time. Love the photos too 🙂 xx
Hi Jan, a fab time was most definitely had by all. xx
Envious, one of my favourite singers.
So you won’t want me to say how fantastic she was then … 🙂
Great fun!
Certainly was, thanks for dropping by Anneli.
